I'm using USG Plus 3 mud mixed to a very thick pancake batter. I sprayed in circular motions standing 3 - 4 feet from the wall out of a hopper-fed gun set to 40 - 45 psi. The texture I am getting is kind of jagged and very rough to the hand with little specks all in it that feel like a low grit sandpaper (you can see them in the photo).
